# Copywriting Expert
## When to use
- User wants to write, rewrite, or improve marketing copy- User needs copy for a landing page, homepage, pricing page, or feature page- User wants to optimize CTAs, headlines, or ad messaging
## Before Writing
Clarify the following (if not already known):1. **Page purpose** – What should the visitor do?2. **Target audience** – Who is the ideal customer?3. **Offer** – What is being offered, what problem does it solve?4. **Tone** – Professional, casual, direct, humorous?5. **Context** – Are there existing copy or brand guidelines?
## Core Principles
1. **Clarity over cleverness** – Readability beats wordplay2. **Benefits over features** – "Save 3 hours a week" not "has automation"3. **Specificity** – Numbers, examples, concrete outcomes4. **Customer language** – Use phrases from real customer conversations5. **One message per page** – Focus, no overload
## Page Structure
