companyADMIN
companyADMIN is the administration area of CompanyGPT. Here you see how CompanyGPT is used and what it costs, check the operational status, decide who may do what, control the visibility of agents, prompts, skills and MCP tools, and configure models, agents and extensions.
Opening companyADMIN
Section titled “Opening companyADMIN”You open companyADMIN from All apps in the CompanyGPT sidebar. There are two tiles:
- Admin opens the administration. Only administrators see this tile.
- Insights opens the usage and cost overview. Everyone who may view Insights sees this tile.
You can also reach companyADMIN directly at https://COMPANY.company-gpt.com/companygpt/admin/. The start page is Insights if you may view Insights, otherwise Status.
The interface
Section titled “The interface”companyADMIN uses the same interface as the other extensions: a sidebar with New chat and All apps, the menu below, and the account menu at the bottom. How this interface works is described in Shared interface.
The companyADMIN menu has five sections. The sub-pages of the section that is open are indented below it.

Clicking a row in a list usually opens a detail page with tabs. Deleting lives there in the Danger zone and always asks first.
In the account menu you set Theme and Language (Deutsch or English). It also shows your email address and, below it, whether you are a Superadmin or an Admin (no superadmin).
Administration and Insights
Section titled “Administration and Insights”companyADMIN has two kinds of access:
- Administration opens every section. Who is an administrator follows from the admin sources of your environment. Depending on the environment these include the ADMIN role, an admin group from Microsoft Entra ID, fixed people, or the right Access the admin area on a role. Which sources apply is shown under Status → Admin sources.
- Insights opens the Insights section only. The right View Insights is enough, which you grant to roles or groups. The ADMIN role holds it automatically. Anyone who is an administrator by another path also needs it on their role or group. Details are in Insights.
Superadmin and admin
Section titled “Superadmin and admin”The account menu shows which view you have. The difference mainly concerns other people’s private content:

Whether the superadmin features are switched on for your organization’s administrators is something you agree with innFactory. innFactory switches them on at your request.
Roles, groups and visibility
Section titled “Roles, groups and visibility”Three concepts carry the whole area:
- Role = what someone may do. A role sets features (such as creating agents or web search), models, agent capabilities and rights in the extensions. Everyone has exactly one role. Rights from several roles are not added up; if a group of people needs the rights of two roles, create a role of its own for them.
- Group = with whom something is shared. Groups decide who sees agents, prompts, skills and MCP servers. Groups can also carry rights in the extensions and settings of their own. A person can be in many groups.
- Visibility decides per item who sees it: only the owner, all users of the environment, or specific groups.
