Baseline & adjustments
Configuration → Baseline & adjustments shows how CompanyGPT’s settings come about. The page is mainly for looking things up and tidying up; settings are changed on the respective pages.
How baseline and adjustments work
Section titled “How baseline and adjustments work”- The baseline comes from the deployment, CompanyGPT’s base configuration. innFactory maintains it and ships it again with every update.
- Adjustments you make in companyADMIN sit on top as their own layer: for everyone, for one role or for one group. Updating the baseline leaves them unchanged.
- CompanyGPT combines both. A few points always come from the baseline or are set again at every start.
Adjustments in the admin
Section titled “Adjustments in the admin”The table lists everything changed in companyADMIN relative to the baseline:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Setting | The changed setting |
| Applies to | Everyone, a role, a group or a person |
| Managed on | The page where you change the setting, such as Providers and models or Agent runtime |
| Status | In force or Not in force with the reason |
Use Search field or role … to find a setting. Depending on the case, an expanded row offers:
- Remove here only – removes the adjustment at this point only; the next layer below applies afterwards.
- Reset to innFactory default – removes the setting from every adjustment (for everyone, roles, groups and individual people). The baseline applies again.
- Activate – switches deactivated adjustments back on, namely every adjustment of this role, group or person at once, not just the one row.
- Delete old profile – deletes leftovers of a very old version that CompanyGPT no longer reads.
Not in force means: saved, but CompanyGPT does not apply it. Common reasons are rights that CompanyGPT sets per role only, settings from an older version, or a feature the baseline switches off. The reason is shown in the row. For settings from an older version, saving again on the respective page is usually enough.
What is overwritten at startup
Section titled “What is overwritten at startup”This section lists what CompanyGPT sets itself at every start and where the baseline always takes precedence, for example:
- Rights of the “User” (USER) and ADMIN roles for certain features. CompanyGPT always sets the use right; create and share only where the baseline names them explicitly. Custom roles are not affected.
- The upper limit for subagents per agent. The value under Agent runtime can only lower it.
- MCP servers from the baseline. They apply to everyone and cannot be granted per group.
- Feature rights (agents, prompts, web search …) cannot be changed through the configuration, only per role.
Each lock says whether and how you can work around it, for example with a custom role. The other points only change with an update of the baseline by innFactory.
innFactory start values
Section titled “innFactory start values”innFactory sets these values as start values during setup and with updates. What you change stays yours; innFactory never overwrites it.
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| Setting | The setting |
| Start value | The value innFactory provides |
| Current | The value that applies now |
| Status | Start value active, Equals the start value, Changed by you, Not set yet, No longer managed, Could not be set or LibreChat resets this at every start |
Reset to start value discards your change; the current innFactory start value applies again.
Deployment baseline
Section titled “Deployment baseline”At the end the page shows the base configuration as CompanyGPT loaded it at start. It is read-only; secrets such as API keys are hidden. innFactory makes changes to the baseline.
A compact summary of this page is on Status → Active configuration.
