Tools in the chat
Through an MCP Server, companyM365 provides tools for Microsoft 365. Agents can use them to search emails, check appointments, read files from OneDrive and SharePoint, find Teams messages, manage tasks and much more – without you having to open the respective Microsoft application yourself.
Using the tools in the chat
Section titled “Using the tools in the chat”The add-on is integrated like any other MCP Server and can then be used in the Chat or assigned directly to an Agent. During the conversation, the agent independently decides which of the tools described below is suitable for your request.
The tools are grouped by Microsoft 365 area. If admin consent is missing for an area in your tenant, the tools remain visible; a call then returns the error graph_consent_missing, and all other tools keep working. Which consents are required is described under Administration.

How changes land in the document is controlled by the edit modes.
