companyLEARN
companyLEARN is the learning platform in CompanyGPT. Course admins put together courses from video and text lessons, add quizzes and publish the courses. Learners enroll, work through the lessons and take the quizzes – in companyLEARN’s own interface or directly in the chat.
How a course is structured
Section titled “How a course is structured”| Building block | Description |

| Course | Title, optional description and a sequence of chapters. A new course starts as a draft; learners only see it once it is published. |
| Chapter | Structures the course. Each chapter contains lessons and, optionally, a quiz. |
| Lesson | Either a video or a text written in Markdown. |
| Quiz | At most one per chapter, with questions, answer options and a pass threshold in percent. |
A chapter is complete once all of its lessons are done and – if it has one – its quiz is passed. With chapter gating switched on (the default for new courses), a chapter only opens once the previous one is complete. The progress in a course is the share of completed chapters.
Two ways in, one learning record

- The chat – through the Learn MCP server, the assistant finds courses, shows your progress and opens lessons and quizzes right in the conversation.
Both work on the same data: whatever you complete in the chat is also marked as done in the interface – and vice versa.

Opening companyLEARN
Section titled “Opening companyLEARN”You open companyLEARN in CompanyGPT via All apps and the Learn tile. You can also reach it directly at:
https://COMPANY.company-gpt.com/companygpt/learn/companyLEARN uses your sign-in from the CompanyGPT chat; there is no separate sign-in. The sidebar, the account menu and the other elements shared by all addons are described on Shared interface.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”companyLEARN has two permissions:

If permissions are granted through companyADMIN, anyone without Use courses sees the No access page when opening companyLEARN; the Learn tools in the chat are not available to them either. Managing courses requires both permissions.
Usually your administrator grants these permissions in companyADMIN under Extensions (see Extension permissions). In some environments, innFactory sets them up during installation; in that case, contact your administrator.
