Audit log

The audit log under Access records administration actions in a tamper-evident way – for example granted capabilities and configuration changes. It serves traceability and troubleshooting.

The following are available for narrowing down entries:

• Search by actor, target or action
• Filters for the kind of entry
• Period via a from and to date

Verify chain checks the integrity of the record chain. Entries are chained so that subsequent modifications become apparent – a passing check means the log has been unchanged since the first entry.

Note

The range of recorded actions grows as the administration area is extended. As long as no administration actions have taken place, the list stays empty.
